BPL resumes tomorrow

After a four-day recess for Eid-Ul-Fitr, the Bangladesh Premier League football resumes tomorrow (Saturday) with fourteen rounds with four matches billed for the day at four separate venues across the country.

League leaders Bashundhara Kings takes on Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra at Bir Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj, Abahani Limited, Dhaka faces old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friend Society at Sylhet District Stadium in Sylhet, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra plays their home match against Saif Sporting Club at Bashundhara Sports Complex in the city and Lieutenant Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club meet Bangladesh Police Football Club at Shaheed Smrity Stadium in Rajshahi.

All the matches kick off at 3:45 pm.

After the completion of thirteen round matches, holders Bashundhara Kings currently dominated the league table with 32 points while the freedom fighters Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad KC have seven points.

Abahani Limited, which stands at second position in the league table, have 28 points while the traditional old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society places at ninth position with 10 points.

Saif Sporting Club stands at fifth position in the league table with 21 points while Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra places at eighth position in the league table with 14 points.

Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club stands at third position in the league table with 27 points while Bangladesh Police Football Club places at seventh position with 16 points.
